Text:
"way back before they knew to test for such things.
when yellow
was a shade, a pallor, an almost sheen.
paramour paled in blue light;
a figurine spun into
tulled skirts, a fluff, a touch of ponce, a seat in a closet doo
--a remarkable prismed light, a slainte view--
piecemeal torn into strips
this formed view
this black center, giving away, sink
into the grayish pool
recline in air
a moment in time like no other
blood red orange peels
rinds scraped into pans
her color is scarlet
an ink wrapped scar
Dolly of mine
in red patent down
cross legged
a whip stitch smile"
whoo whirl whip whip
